The position
Reporting to the Site Finance Lead you work in a site Finance team of 4 persons with operational areas to support achieving the company’s objectives. You liaise with several other Finance functions.
The purpose of the position is to:
- execute and improve the financial forecasting and management reporting, including the consolidated Site reporting.
- contribute to improving financial business processes.
- partner with the site’s departments to support achieving of business objectives with your financial information, analysis, and actions.
- provide financial support and advice to capital planning.
To be successful, you bring excellent analytical skills, and you can build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and act as a first point of contact for Finance; You bring the drive, skills, and personal impact to contribute to the financial performance of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provision of accurate, timely and reliable financial information.
- Monthly closing and reporting; consolidation of the site management reporting.
- Support, analysis, and assistance in the preparation and review of the company’s annual operating budget and capital budget.
- Management of site spend in partnership with budget owners focusing on headcount, operating expense budgets, forecasting and spending targets.
- Support the delivery of key business projects through financial modelling and analysis.
- Support of manufacturing and inventory accounting including variance analysis.
- Provision of financial input and advice to the site leadership team.
- Challenge and drive continuous improvement of existing processes through optimization, standardization and stability.
- Internal control and compliance: ensure that all activities are handled in line with the internal control requirements and provide support during internal and external audits.
Required Education, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Finance or/ Economics.
- 5-10 years of experience in a multinational, preferably a manufacturing and/or supply chain environment.
- Knowledge of SAP and strong Excel skills.
- Understanding of planning, budget and forecasting processes.
- Understanding of inventory accounting and manufacturing variances.
- Experience with business partnering.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Pro-active attitude with an improvement mindset.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and work to tight deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
