SAP EWM Solution Architect (Senior / SME) – Europe, 100% remote, Contractor
100% Remote – Europe (Spain or any EU country)
Contractor position, full-time.
✈️ Occasional travel (once every 3 months to Belgium or other European locations)
English level: C1 (mandatory)
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior SAP EWM Solution Architect with over 10 years of SAP project experience, combining strong architectural leadership with a hands-on mindset.
This role is part of a global S/4HANA transformation program and requires someone capable of defining and governing SAP EWM target architecture across complex, multi-site environments.
You will act as a design authority while remaining technically involved throughout build, test, and deployment phases.
Key Responsibilities

Define and govern SAP EWM target architecture (embedded and decentralized).

Act as design authority across global and multi-site implementations.

Lead solution design for inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes.

Define integration strategy with SAP S/4HANA and external systems.

Ensure alignment with SAP best practices and enterprise architecture standards.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, supply chain teams, and technical architects.

Provide hands-on guidance during build, test, and deployment phases.
Required Experience & Skills

10+ years of experience in SAP project implementations.

Strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM configuration and solution design.

Solid background in supply chain and warehouse operations.

Experience in S/4HANA transformations (greenfield, brownfield, and global rollouts).

Integration experience between SAP EWM and MM, SD, PP, TM, and QM.

Experience with warehouse automation, RF, MFS, and third-party integrations.

Proven experience in global rollouts and multi-warehouse environments.

Fluent English (C1) – international environment.
Nice to Have

SAP certification in EWM or SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain.

Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
