For the Procurement Team at our manufacturing site in Oss (the Netherlands), we are currently recruiting a Procurement Specialist.
Purpose of the role
The Procurement Specialist within our Manufacturing organization in Oss, The Netherlands, is an essential resource responsible for a broad spectrum of support activities, including: stakeholder support at a manufacturing site, maintaining outline agreements and related SAP procurement data, and supplier management supporting Direct Materials procurement spaces.
The Procurement Specialist works with Procurement Category owners globally, to understand supply strategies and agreements and associated implementation and contract management. Furthermore, will he or she be working with stakeholders on the Manufacturing Site to understand site needs and liaise on a daily base between Category owners and the Manufacturing sites. Conducting research and analysis in support of local sourcing plans in the Direct material spaces, as well as identification and documentation of all cost reduction and improvements, are also part of the scope.
The Procurement Specialist will report into the Director Procurement.

Your profile
- Relevant degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Science, Supply Chain or another Procurement related area;
- Relevant experience in Procurement and / or knowledge of Procurement related business processes;
- Experience within a pharmaceutical or another complex manufacturing environment;
- ERP experience (SAP, Ariba, eSourcing, etc.);
- Experience with Coupa would be an asset.
- Data mining skills (excel, SAP & Power BI);
- Analytical, communication and influencing skills;
- Proven ability to collaborate with a wide variety of individuals, including management, stakeholders, team members, other departments and suppliers.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Good Dutch and English language skills (written and spoken).
