Our Client is an international group who designs, manufactures and markets sustainable single-use food packaging.
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Plant Manager to oversee operations of the Oss site (NDL) _ sales turnover almost 30M€ / year
• Injection packaging + BRC certif mandatory
• P&L management experience
• Fluent in English + Dutch mandatory
• Position available immediately, full-time contract
Main role
✓ Defining and achieving the company objectives
✓ Ensuring production efficiency
✓ Driving the operational excellence of thefacility
✓ Act as liaison between the Production & Sales Department
✓ Responsible for the factory’s overall performance, including profit and loss management.
Missions
1- Actively participate in setting the company’s strategic objectives and ensure alignment with production and operational goals.
2- Define and oversee industrial and production objectives, ensuring efficient and timely output that meets customer requirements.
3- Serve as the main point of contact for the Sales Department, facilitating effective communication and alignment on production capabilities and delivery timelines.
4- Manage the factory’s P&L, including staff costs and capital expenditure (CapEx), to ensure financial efficiency and profitability.
5- Lead, inspire, and guide a diverse team through natural and effective leadership, fostering a strong and cohesive work culture.
6- Develop and sustain high production efficiency by coordinating various departments, such as Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Production.
7- Analyze production efficiency and implement corrective action plans when necessary to maintain high standards.
8- Ensure the factory complies with all relevant regulations, particularly in the food industry, such as the BRC system and Ecovadis standards.
9- Work closely with the corporate organization and upper management, providing regular updates and spontaneous communication as needed.
10- Step in to provide backup for the management team during absences to ensure seamless operations.
Profile
• Strong production background, in injection packaging, with deep technical expertise.
• Proficient in managing P&L, with a strong understanding of budgetary and financial responsibilities.
• Ability to analyze and drive efficiency improvements across all operational departments.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Comfortable working in an international corporate setting and adept at collaborating across cultures.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards in the food industry (BRC, Ecovadis, etc.) is highly desirable.
