“The MarketingDirector ensures that the current and future needs of customers,patients and stakeholders are fully understood. You developstrategies to meet these needs and implement launches, campaignsand actions to meet profit and growth targets. The MarketingDirector develops and implements a futureproof marketingorganisation, in addition identifying integration potential betweenthe business segments of medical products and solutions and patientcare services, and creates synergies wherepossible”
AsMarketing Director for the Netherlands and Belgium you develop andimplement business- and marketing strategies of the product(medical devices, pharmaceutical products and customized solutions)and the patient care businesses of B. Braun, in order to achieveprofitable and sustainablegrowth.
As adriver of change and innovation you demonstrate visionary,strategic and authentic leadership by supporting and inspiring thebusiness and developing the current marketing team. You ensure thatthe current and future needs of market segments, customers andpatient groups – as well as other stakeholders such as governmentbodies and insurance companies – are well understood and alignedwith the strategy of B. Braun. You and your team provide deep andrelevant insights to internal stakeholders. Next to this you willlead integrated, comprehensive business- and communicationstrategies for internal and external stakeholders (e.g,. governmentaffairs, pricing and market access) and drive the team to developand launch campaigns and activities to these keystakeholders. In this role you will be continuous sparringwith the Managing Director (BeNe), CFO, Commercial Directors, theGeneral Manager Care and other departments; in particular HR,Technical Service and IT, as well as global marketing and salescolleagues.
Otherresponsibilitiesinclude:
- Monitoring and controlling marketing andbusiness activities through KPI’s, using ROI within financialreporting to co-steer the organization effectively and actively interms of resources &budget;
- Build, strengthen and enlarge long-termrelation- and partnerships with key customers, key opinion leaders,medical (inter)national societies and associations and/or otherstakeholders;
- To manage product and therapy launches,launch of new healthcare services, product life cycles and annualmarketing / businessplans;
- End responsibility for internal andexternal communications;
- To define the necessary marketing tools,templates and processes;
- Act diligently and according tocompliance guidelines;
- Performance and competency management(including succession planning) and empowering team members ontheir personal development, talents, securing needs andinitiatives.
Functie-eisen
- Academic degree (Masters) in marketingbusiness or healthcare relatedfield;
- Experience in marketing andcommercially-oriented senior leadershippositions;
- Experience in both medical devices andhealthcare organizations;
- Financial acumen with the ability toassimilate and disseminate (complex)information;
- Analytical skills with the ability tocompile and convey meaningful management reports and businesscases;
- Knowledge and experience of the BeNe(Belgium and Netherlands) health care market andregulations;
- Experience in managing teams of up to 30persons in multiplelocations;
- Experience in a matrixorganisation;
- Fluent Dutch and English in speaking andwriting, French isdesirable.
