Continuous Improvement Leader – Manufacturing Environment
Location: North Brabant, Netherlands (On-site)
We are currently supporting a manufacturing organisation in the Netherlands that is looking to appoint a Continuous Improvement Leader to drive operational excellence and support the next phase of business growth.
This is a highly visible position working closely with site leadership, responsible for embedding continuous improvement principles across the organisation and ensuring improvement initiatives deliver measurable business impact. The role will suit an experienced Lean professional who enjoys driving change, coaching leaders, and connecting strategy with day-to-day execution.
Responsibilities
• Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and operational functions
• Develop and execute the site’s continuous improvement roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Facilitate Kaizen events and structured improvement workshops, ensuring sustainable outcomes
• Embed Lean principles, visual management, and structured problem-solving methodologies into daily operations
• Coach and support leaders across the organisation to improve performance, accountability, and operational discipline
• Drive cultural change by promoting continuous improvement behaviours and standardised ways of working
• Monitor and track performance improvements using data-driven metrics and KPIs
• Act as the internal expert for Lean and operational excellence practices
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Operations or a related field (remembered equivalent experience also considered)
• 10+ years’ experience within manufacturing, engineering, quality, or supply chain environments
• Proven experience in a Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Operational Excellence role
• Strong background deploying and sustaining Lean operating systems
• Demonstrated experience coaching leaders and influencing change without direct authority
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Fluent English required, Dutch is advantageous
