what will you do

As an assembly engineer, you will assemble modern mobile tower cranes. From a drawing and work instructions, you build things like the drive, axles and cabin. But also the control system and engine.
You perform mechanical, hydraulic and electrical work. Challenging work that suits a specialist like you.

Within the assembly department, there are various workplaces where you can work as an assembly mechanic. For example, pre-assembly, masts department, trucks department, final assembly department, upper frames department and booms department. Enough challenges and career opportunities to keep you entertained.

• you identify any delays in the crane assembly process and report this to your team leader;
• you carry out inspections of the mobile tower cranes and resolve any malfunctions;
• you test and localise problems of the machines (e.g. scouring pipes, wire breakage, penetration of moisture and fire hazards);
• you will build and adjust electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems on all types of mobile tower cranes.
